"Culture Wars" - Again!

New Scientist magazine hopes that the UK will be saved from the "Culture Wars" and the BBC mentions "Culture Wars" several times in one day.

The "Culture Wars" are supposed to begin with attitudes to issues such as sexual orientation and race. This is where we should start to get puzzled.  A very small percentage of the population is gay, lesbian or bisexual:

Most people in the UK have accepted equal rights for gay, lesbian and bisexual people.

Hard though it may be for Londoners to believe, a very small percentage of the population of England and Wales is black, where black means black African or black Caribbean origin. "Amongst the 56 million residents in England and Wales, 86% were White, 8% were Asian/Asian British and 3% were Black/African/Caribbean/Black British." (2011 census).

2011 Census Data

Within the black population only about a sixth have ancestors who underwent slavery in the British Empire over 200 years or more ago because less than a third of Black British come from places where slavery was practised and many Caribbean black people were resettled, rescued slaves freed by the British from elsewhere.  Yet the "Culture Wars" portrays black people generally as victims of slavery.  Most people in the UK have accepted equal rights for black people.

So we have this apparently huge "Culture War" allegedly about a small number of people whose equal rights have already been mostly settled by law.  This means that the "Culture War" cannot be about the minorities that it claims to be about.

Most people in the UK have accepted equal rights for black, gay and lesbian people.  There is no pressure in the UK to ban gay and lesbian behaviour or to discriminate against black people.  The "Culture War" is about something else.

What is happening is that one part of society is requiring that another part of society speak and think as they demand.  This demand to control all of society is not about gay and lesbian rights, it is about control.  It is about elevating the "anti-isms" to the status of moral imperatives that all must obey.  ID politics is the new religion.

Who are these proponents of controlling the speech and thoughts of their fellow citizens?  There are the usual band of immature students and idiot academics who believe that we would all be happier if democracy were ended and the "enlightened" were in control. These people have always been around but have been heavily funded by government now that they are hiding behind labels such as postmodernist and poststructuralist.  What is also new is that the mass media have chosen to back their idea of controlling individual speech and thought Why?

Individual journalists, script writers and programme editors clearly feel that racism and sexism are still major issues, when, as demonstrated above, this is not the case.  Zero hours contracts, low wages, high house prices, sky high rental prices, lack of retraining opportunities, sustainability etc. are all real issues that are being edged out of coverage by the mainstream media in their "Culture Wars".

So who is financing and diverting the journalists etc?  Perhaps it is worth pointing out that the UK is always pilloried for racism and the EU is never mentioned when direct experience of discrimination is almost as high in the EU as in the US and the UK is a relative paragon:

US Source: Harvard https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/press-releases/black-americans-discrimination-work-police/

What group of people wishes to undermine the confidence of British citizens in British society and wants to protect the EU from criticism?

It is also the case that migration is a major issue for those who wish to control their fellow citizens.  The transfer of 600,000 people a year from mostly poorer countries to the UK is probably the biggest single source of the increase of UK greenhouse gas emissions and a problem for global emissions, it results in the UK population increasingly exceeding its sustainability limits (the UK can only feed about 45m people from its own resources), it increases rental and hence property prices and creates a barrier to real wage growth.  However, the controllers would describe all these factors as the ideas of racists.  They wish to use the fake morality of ID politics to declare whole areas of the national political debate to be racist.

A pattern is emerging.  No borders, free movement of labour and the consequent transfer of trade to multinational corporations are the principle objectives.  It is as if the mainstream media are owned or controlled by people in the pay of large corporations.  Indeed, the mainstream media are owned or controlled by people in the pay of large corporations.

The corporate agenda is globalist and directed at terminating the desire for independence in the UK and USA. The Internationalists have put Keir Starmer (Trilateral Commission member) in charge of Labour and Joe Biden (historical member of Council on Foreign Relations) in charge of the USA.

It is not just the Multinational Corporations who are revelling in the diversion of politics away from reality to ID politics.  The main foot soldiers of this movement are the Postmarxists, whose internationalist agenda meshes with that of the Corporates, and who have been selected to be mouthpieces for ID politics in their fantasy "Culture War".

The foreign power that is providing huge momentum is China.  China is viewed as the promised land by Maoist groups such as BLM (the Black Liberation Movement whose slogan is "Black Lives Matter").  In the past decade China has risen to control the majority of international trade.  This dominance means that it also dominates multinational corporations.  It needs the democracies to abandon democracy and to adapt their populations to thinking and speaking according to the edicts of central government as they do in China.

This is a pivotal decade for the Western powers.  In the UK we need to bank the gains made on equality and change focus to sustainability and independence. Most importantly we need to realize that Multinational Corporations are not independent of influence by hostile foreign powers.

The Falklands have always been Argentine - Las Malvinas son Argentinas

"The Falklands have always been Argentine" is taught to every Argentine child as a matter of faith.  What was Argentina during the time when it "always" possessed Las Malvinas?  In this article I will trace the history of Argentina in the context of its physical and political relationship with "Las Malvinas", the Falkland Islands.  The Argentine claim to the Falkland Islands dates from a brief episode in 1831-32 so it is like Canada claiming the USA despite two centuries of separate development. This might sound like ancient history but Argentina has gone to war for this ancient claim so the following article is well worth reading. For a summary of the legal case see: Las Malvinas: The Legal Case Argentina traces its origins to Spanish South America when it was part of the Viceroyalty of the Rio del Plata.  The Falklands lay off the Viceroyalty of Peru, controlled by the Captain General of Chile.  In 1810 the Falklands were far from the geographical b...

Practical Idealism by Richard Nicolaus Coudenhove-Kalergi

Coudenhove-Kalergi was a pioneer of European integration. He was the founder and President for 49 years of the Paneuropean Union. His parents were Heinrich von Coudenhove-Kalergi, an Austro-Hungarian diplomat, and Mitsuko Aoyama, the daughter of an oil merchant, antiques-dealer, and huge landowner family in Tokyo. His "Pan-Europa" was published in 1923 and contained a membership form for the Pan-Europa movement. Coudenhove-Kalergi's movement held its first Congress in Vienna in 1926. In 1927 the French Prime Minister, Aristide Briand was elected honorary president.  Personalities attending included: Albert Einstein, Thomas Mann and Sigmund Freud. Figures who later became central to founding the EU, such as Konrad Adenauer became members . His basic idea was that democracy was a transitional stage that leads to rule by a new aristocracy that is largely taken from the Jewish "master race" (Kalergi's terminology). His movement was reviled by Hitler and H...

Membership of the EU: pros and cons

5th December 2013, update May 2016 Nigel Lawson, ex-Chancellor of the Exchequer,  recently criticised the UK membership of the EU , the media has covered his mainstream view as if he is a bad boy starting a fight in the school playground, but is he right about the EU? What has changed that makes EU membership a burning issue?  What has changed is that the 19 countries of the Eurozone are now seeking political union to escape their financial problems.   Seven further EU countries have signed up to join the Euro but the British and Danish have opted out.  The EU is rapidly becoming two blocks - the 26 and Britain and Denmark.   Lawson's fear was that if Britain stays in the EU it will be isolated and dominated by a Eurozone bloc that uses "unified representation of the euro area" , so acting like a single country which controls 90% of the vote in the EU with no vetoes available to the UK in most decisions.  The full plans for Eurozone po...
