The latest conflict between India and China happened yesterday (Monday 15th June). This is the most recent of a string of clashes and resulted in 5 Chinese and 3 Indian soldiers being killed, subsequently revised upwards to 20 dead. The UK broadcast media are focusing on racism and ID politics whilst this is happening.
China has recently effectively annexed Hong Kong and according to Reuters Chinese jet planes have been "menacing Taiwan".

The power of China is nowhere better demonstrated than its control of the UK Broadcast Media. We can only guess at how they are doing this but the reporting of the COVID19 outbreak shows that the principle objective of broadcasters is: "don't offend the Chinese".
The UK broadcast media is maintaining that COVID19 occurred as a result of bats being sold in Wuhan's Hua Nan fish market even though the first Chinese assessment of the COVID19 outbreak dismissed this because bats are not sold at the market and bats infected with the nearest relatives of the virus (in any animal) come from 900 km away. "According to municipal reports and the testimonies of 31 residents and 28 visitors, the bat was never a food source in the city, and no bat was traded in the market". UK Broadcasters are maintaining the myth of the fish market as the source of the COVID19 outbreak even though an article in the Lancet shows that it was not the source of the earlier outbreak in the first week in December. (See Lancet ).
The first genetic studies in China, before they banned further publications, showed that infections at the Hua Nan market were person to person transmission that happened after the virus had been introduced elsewhere. "Phyloepidemiologic analyses suggested that the SARS-CoV-2 source at the Hua Nan market was imported from elsewhere." UK broadcasters are maintaining this story of Hua Nan as the origin even though Wuhan hosts two large virological facilities that are known to study bat viruses, including those from the nearest relative to the virus that causes COVID19. "Within ~280 meters from the market, there was the Wuhan Center for Disease Control & Prevention (WHCDC)...In one of their studies, 155 bats including Rhinolophus affinis were captured in Hubei province, and other 450 bats were captured in Zhejiang province 4. The expert in collection was noted in the Author Contributions (JHT). Moreover, he was broadcasted for collecting viruses on nation-wide newspapers and websites in 2017 and 2019". The Wuhan virological laboratories were definitely importing relatives of the virus that causes COVID19 and the Hua Nan Fish Market was definitely not doing this.

The huge mystery is why UK Broadcasters are working with the Chinese to cover up what actually happened.
China's tactical forces are almost on a par with those of the USA but its nuclear forces are well behind and will take 10 years to be world threatening. An alliance with Russia is probable, Putin has offered talks on a military pact. Putin believes that the 21st century will mark the rise of Russo-Chinese dominance.
China has just signalled that it is now ready to consider closer cooperation with Russia. (Tass). The UK Broadcasters are almost silent about these developments and are deeply immersed in domestic ID politics. It is almost as if they are working for China, distracting us while it threatens the world, although it is more probable that they are simply lazy and ignorant, finding it easier to rage about ID politics (which in the UK has little effect on most people's lives) rather than address serious issues.
