China is an express train coming straight at us

If the population of China becomes as rich per head as that of the USA its economy will be four times the size of the US economy and more than half of all global GDP.

In terms of Purchase Power Parity China already has the largest economy in the world.

You might expect Western journalists to be alert to this change, especially given that the Chinese economy will grow this year whereas the Western economies will mostly shrink.

This is a critical moment in world history.

At present China does not have the nuclear forces to tackle the USA and will not have these for at least 10 years. However, Russia does have sufficient nuclear weaponry and has actively proposed an alliance with China (See Warsaw Institute Review). We will know when China is ready to tackle the West when it accepts an alliance with Russia.

How will China tackle the West? China will wait for a Democrat president in the US. It will then invade the South China Sea as the first move and watch for US reactions. If the US blusters and the EU gives no support then China will invade Taiwan. There will then either be a Third World War or the US will back down. If the US backs down the last half of the 21st century and the following millennium will be Chinese. We will be utterly controlled and the freedoms so loved by ordinary British people until recently will not even be remembered.

It is dizzying to see the West tearing itself apart with ID Politics when there is an express train bearing down on it. Perhaps the decay of empires always looks like this.
