Are Britain's Youth Victims of the Media?

Over the past 30 years the needs of the youth of Britain have been abandoned by the Media.  Instead the emphasis has been on how they can be used as a political weapon.

There has been almost no coverage of the huge demand for housing and hence high rents in our cities due to population growth or the rapid disappearance of quality employment, instead young people have been regarded as political robots that can be manipulated into esoteric campaigns.

Sexual politics is the most obvious example of this desire to indoctrinate.  Very few people in the UK are Gay:

Yet the Broadcast Media and Media Drama has a very high coverage of ID politics giving the impression that this is a pressing issue for society. With only about one in 50 people affected by sexual politics one might have imagined that the Broadcasters would prefer to cover issues that are affecting large numbers of people.

Race relations are a similar area of focusing on small minorities.  In 2011 86% of the population was White British and only 3.4% were black and only 32% of UK Black people (1% of UK population) had ancestors who might have been slaves (see graphic at end of article).  Yet in recent weeks we have heard endless coverage of racism and almost no coverage of both the fact that the UK is one of the least racist countries in the world or that the EU has a huge problem with racism.  The Media coverage has deliberately given the impression that the UK is just like the USA.
Racial Discrimination
Compare this data with 30% of UK children being in poverty or that about 30% of the population has an income less than 60% of the median wage:

There is almost no coverage of the areas where deprivation is most entrenched:

Health and Well Being
Or that urbanisation is rapidly destroying England, with almost 9% of land surface built upon and even more destroyed by motorways and infrastructure.

Countryside Survey
Our Media likes to suggest that there is infinite land available in England for settlement by people from overseas.  In fact the balance between man and nature is always covered as "Global this" and "World that" when the UK has very serious problems:

Internet Geography
So why is the UK Media keen on "global" environmental issues?  It is to stop anyone doing anything in the UK by refusing to analyse what needs to be done here.  Why are they focusing on racial discrimination in the USA as a British problem?  It is to divert the population from real issues such as poverty.  Why are the Media focusing on LGBT issues?  It is to divert the population from real issues that affect the body politic.

The British Media operate by suppressing coverage of news and diverting the population with side issues.

Who is doing this?  Much of the news suppression is due to the Broadcast Media being upper class (60% of UK News Presenters/Journalists come from private schools).  Quite simply they are classist and hate ordinary British people with a vengeance, being upper class and believing themselves to be socialist they have invented a fantasy world of ID politics and salvation through global intervention.  The rest of the news suppression is due to Corporate Media bosses who are deliberately fostering the diversion of the nation from reality because the last thing they want is any clamour around work and economics or sustainability.

On foreign policy the Media shows clear signs of Corporate intervention.

The Media have almost completely suppressed bad news about China such as Chinese computer hardware containing "hardware trojans" that probably permit almost any Chinese made computer or smartphone to be hacked.  Ask anyone about the "South China Sea" and none will realise that China is trying to control the whole of SE Asian sea routes and, ultimately, SE Asia.  Even their coverage of China's concentration camps makes it seem possible that they really are education establishments.

See Bloomberg Businessweek
See We need to talk about China.

They also suppressed any statistical treatment of UK-EU Trade and Financial Relations throughout the Brexit furore, preferring instead to do anecdotal pieces on individual companies.

ONS Data
Ask most people and they will say the EU was excellent for trade when the truth is a huge, unsustainable, deficit of £70 billion a year.  According to John Humphrys the omission of real data about Brexit was due to the upper class journalists and presenters just believing that they knew best.  There was, of course, Corporate interference as well, Rona Fairhead, the HSBC Director at the heart of the offshore tax scandals, was appointed to manage the BBC through Brexit.  The Broadcasters have also been very quiet about any possible terms of re-entry since the UK left the EU so that most people believe that re-entry would simply be returning to 2016.  The truth is very different with joining the Euro and Shengen being requirements for re-entry.

The broadcast media seems to have gone into fantasy land about 20 years ago so younger voters are the helpless victims of their news suppression and attempted indoctrination.  This has given us the spectacle of British people on our streets demonstrating about US racism whilst totally ignoring Chinese concentration camps and marching for gay liberation when 30% of UK children are in poverty.

It is a tragedy to see the ideological effort of young voters being frittered away into the Media fantasy world.  Reality is family, friends, neighbours, locality and country and lastly religion/ideals, in that order - keep this in mind and you cannot go far wrong.

Practical Idealism by Richard Nicolaus Coudenhove-Kalergi

Coudenhove-Kalergi was a pioneer of European integration. He was the founder and President for 49 years of the Paneuropean Union. His parents were Heinrich von Coudenhove-Kalergi, an Austro-Hungarian diplomat, and Mitsuko Aoyama, the daughter of an oil merchant, antiques-dealer, and huge landowner family in Tokyo. His "Pan-Europa" was published in 1923 and contained a membership form for the Pan-Europa movement. Coudenhove-Kalergi's movement held its first Congress in Vienna in 1926. In 1927 the French Prime Minister, Aristide Briand was elected honorary president.  Personalities attending included: Albert Einstein, Thomas Mann and Sigmund Freud. Figures who later became central to founding the EU, such as Konrad Adenauer became members . His basic idea was that democracy was a transitional stage that leads to rule by a new aristocracy that is largely taken from the Jewish "master race" (Kalergi's terminology). His movement was reviled by Hitler and H

The Falklands have always been Argentine - Las Malvinas son Argentinas

"The Falklands have always been Argentine" is taught to every Argentine child as a matter of faith.  What was Argentina during the time when it "always" possessed Las Malvinas?  In this article I will trace the history of Argentina in the context of its physical and political relationship with "Las Malvinas", the Falkland Islands.  The Argentine claim to the Falkland Islands dates from a brief episode in 1831-32 so it is like Canada claiming the USA despite two centuries of separate development. This might sound like ancient history but Argentina has gone to war for this ancient claim so the following article is well worth reading. For a summary of the legal case see: Las Malvinas: The Legal Case Argentina traces its origins to Spanish South America when it was part of the Viceroyalty of the Rio del Plata.  The Falklands lay off the Viceroyalty of Peru, controlled by the Captain General of Chile.  In 1810 the Falklands were far from the geographical b

Membership of the EU: pros and cons

5th December 2013, update May 2016 Nigel Lawson, ex-Chancellor of the Exchequer,  recently criticised the UK membership of the EU , the media has covered his mainstream view as if he is a bad boy starting a fight in the school playground, but is he right about the EU? What has changed that makes EU membership a burning issue?  What has changed is that the 19 countries of the Eurozone are now seeking political union to escape their financial problems.   Seven further EU countries have signed up to join the Euro but the British and Danish have opted out.  The EU is rapidly becoming two blocks - the 26 and Britain and Denmark.   Lawson's fear was that if Britain stays in the EU it will be isolated and dominated by a Eurozone bloc that uses "unified representation of the euro area" , so acting like a single country which controls 90% of the vote in the EU with no vetoes available to the UK in most decisions.  The full plans for Eurozone political union ( EMU Stage
