The rise in Racism after the EU Referendum

There have been many reports of a rise in hate crime since the EU Referendum:

"There were 85 reports of hate crimes to True Vision, a police-funded reporting website, between Thursday and Sunday compared with 54 reports over the same period four weeks ago."  (Independent) True Vision is not an official body.

How many of these reports were due to the Referendum is very difficult to disentangle. It is worth looking at the figures on hate crime. The graph below is from Crime Survey data:

What is immediately obvious is that hate crimes are not always about race.

So, we have a complex picture in which the UK media is covering the data provided by a pressure group of an excess of 29 reports on all types of hate crime as cast iron evidence that those who supported Leave are racist. What is going on?

Since the Enlightenment Britain has been a country that has rejected racism.  The British have known that racism is wrong for at least two centuries.  Although racism was rejected by our laws and philosophy racist events would still occur between individuals and even whole organisations and sections of society would have racist behaviour.  Fortunately, nowadays the majority of ordinary British people are aware that the colour of skin or origin of a person is no reason for animosity.

Most importantly we know that if a black man is guilty of a mugging all people with darker skins are not to blame.  We know that if an extremist explodes a bomb everyone from more equatorial latitudes cannot be blamed.  We know that blaming the majority of people in a group for the actions of a few individuals is the way that extremists of all types create hatred.

A civilised and calm society has laws and respect for these laws that prevent extremists from exploiting racist politics.  The racist and extremist method of gaining political advantage by blaming the group for the actions of individuals is now either banned or reviled in Britain.  We have seen how blaming Jews for the actions of Israel has been reviled in the Labour Party and everyone is clear that actions by a group of racist Israelis on the West Bank cannot be used to attack all people who adhere to the Jewish religion.

There is now only one group of racists who are sanctioned to exploit this technique. These are the Internationalists.  This group take incidents involving racists in particular countries and use it to attack the whole institution of Nationhood and all people who consider themselves to be Nationals of a particular country.  These Internationalists use the same techniques as any racist extremists, they extrapolate from the individual to the group and then gang up to deprive a group of dignified respect.

The EU Referendum was a battle between Internationalists and those who believe in the Nation State.  Those who believe in the diversity of Nation States were afflicted by the presence of a few racist fellow travellers. The Internationalists, to a man and woman, are racists who have exploited the few "offenders" to revile an entire group.  Internationalism is a dangerous movement because its adherents do not even realise that they behave as a faceless, extremist gang and so are fodder for future tyrannies.

The political philosophy that uses the Racist/Anti-Racist conflict in the hope of creating social change or creating social collapse and revolution is known as "Post Marxism". It was the political philosophy of New Labour.  It is Internationalist and is seldom covered in the media, most journalists being Post Marxists.

It's not that Leave voters are inherently racist. It is that racists feel legitimised by the leave vote, and are emboldened by feeling they are now in a majority. Probably not hindered by the suppression of needed dialogue about immigration from the Remain campaign. The Leave campaign used racist imagery and vile rhetoric about immigration, and must be held accountable for that (e.g. the image of the refugees walking).

Part of the Leave campaign had a small amount of dubious literature that was pounced upon by the Remain media. Remain have attempted to smear "caring about your locality" by associating it with "racism" at every opportunity.

The Falklands have always been Argentine - Las Malvinas son Argentinas

"The Falklands have always been Argentine" is taught to every Argentine child as a matter of faith.  What was Argentina during the time when it "always" possessed Las Malvinas?  In this article I will trace the history of Argentina in the context of its physical and political relationship with "Las Malvinas", the Falkland Islands.  The Argentine claim to the Falkland Islands dates from a brief episode in 1831-32 so it is like Canada claiming the USA despite two centuries of separate development. This might sound like ancient history but Argentina has gone to war for this ancient claim so the following article is well worth reading. For a summary of the legal case see: Las Malvinas: The Legal Case Argentina traces its origins to Spanish South America when it was part of the Viceroyalty of the Rio del Plata.  The Falklands lay off the Viceroyalty of Peru, controlled by the Captain General of Chile.  In 1810 the Falklands were far from the geographical b...

Do Muslim women want to wear the Burka (Burqua)?

Do all islamic women want to wear burka?  Can a woman's freedom to wear what she wants oppress other women?  Are western feminists aiding a cult that is dedicated to the destruction of feminism?  I hope to answer these questions in this article.  I would much appreciate any comments you might have if you disagree with the article, especially if you have a feminist viewpoint. Here is a description of the problems of wearing burka by a woman of Asian origin: "Of course, many veiled Muslim women argue that, far from being forced to wear burkas by ruthless husbands, they do so out of choice. And I have to take them at their word. But it is also very apparent that many women are forced behind the veil. A number of them have turned up at my door seeking refuge from their fathers, mothers, brothers and in-laws - men brain-washed by religious leaders who use physical and mental abuse to compel the girls to cover up. It started with the headscarf, then went to th...

The Roots of New Labour

This article was written in 2009 but is still useful to understand the motivation behind New Labour - from the global financial crisis through the over-regulated, surveillance society to the break up of the UK into nationalities. The past lives of Labour Ministers have long been sanitised and many biographies that include their shady communist and Marxist pasts are inaccessible or removed from the net. The truth about these guys is similar to discovering that leading Tories were members of the Nazi Party. If you are a British voter and do not think that this is important then I despair for British politics.  Had these people taken jobs in industry their past might be forgotten and forgiven but they continued in left wing politics and even today boast of being "Stalinist" or International Socialist (or in Blair's case, Trotskyist ). Peter Mandelson (first Secretary of State and Labour Supremo): "Mr Mandelson was born into a Labour family - his grandfather wa...
