Cameron adds EU referendum to Tory manifesto

Cameron: The EU's Baby
David Cameron announced today that the Conservative manifesto for the next election will contain a promise to hold a referendum on European Union membership.  Yes, the much publicised  promise is no more than a promise that the Tory manifesto will have some sort of referendum involving EU membership.

The pro-EU lobby has turned this tawdry announcement into a media circus.  One thing that all pro-EU interests, from Cameron to Merkel, can agree on is that they do not want UKIP to win many seats at the next election or encourage Tories to defect to UKIP.   To stop UKIP the entire media circus, Obama and any pro-EU friends have been brought together to help Cameron get maximum publicity for an election pledge.

Are the British happy that the entire EU Establishment, the Labour, Tory and Lib Dem parties and the media have all lined up against them?  The majority of British people would vote to leave the EU but they are being bullied and forced to stay in.  The sheer power of the EU Establishment is terrifying. We must leave the EU.

What of Cameron's promise?  Firstly Cameron is unlikely to win the next election, secondly the Tories break their election pledges - on immigration for example, and lastly his "promise" allows him to make up any type of referendum question.  Anyone who is fooled by this manoeuvre must be weak in the head.
