The EU has just passed a new law that permits large corporations to pay for a preferential speed advantage over other users and to allow Internet Service Providers to accept payment to deny bandwidth to classes of users. The EU railroaded the legislation through Parliament on the back of a deal to end roaming charges for light users of mobile phones.
Those of you who doubt that the EU is an organisation run by corporations that cannot be brought to account by the people of Britain should ponder upon this change.
